Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has celebrated the success of Day One of the Oyo State International Agribusiness Summit (OYSIAS 2025). The summit is taking place at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IIITA), Ibadan.
The governor made his take known in a post he shared on his Facebook wall on Wednesday evening. His words: “Let me use this opportunity to thank everyone who made Day 1 of the Oyo State International Agribusiness Summit (OYSIAS 2025) a huge success!
“At this gathering of stakeholders including agripreneurs, innovators and development partners, we unveiled the Grown in Oyo State certification trademark which will support traceability for products grown in our dear State”. “The summit continues tomorrow (Thursday December 4, 2025) and I look forward to hosting delegates to lunch at the Oyo State Agribusiness Transformation Centre, Fasola after their tour of the facility”.
